Do you know someone that suffers from food allergies? Some of the most common allergic reactions are: shellfish, shrimp, crayfish, lobster, and crab; tree nuts like walnuts; fish; eggs, peanuts and wheat. Legumes are the cause of the most serious anaphylactic reaction in severely allergic people, even minimal food allergens can make someone go into an allergic attack. Less sensitive people may be able to tolerate foods they are allergic to.
Children are different than adults, the most common foods for them are: eggs milk, peanuts, fruits like tomatoes and strawberries. In time children outgrow their allergy tendencies, but with adults allergies stay with them throughout their life. When children have allergies to cow’s milk or soy milk; they outgrow them faster than allergies to peanuts fish or fish. Foods in both children and adults are the one that you react to faster. If you’re from another country you may eat more rice, or codfish which gives you allergic attacks.
Occurrence of allergic reactions
How often do these reactions to food occur? You have to find out what foods are causing the allergic reactions first. If it is a person with known allergies you may have to find the source of the reactions. Take away foods they eat on a daily basis, to find which ones are causing allergic attacks. Try avoiding related foods. Sometimes keeping a food journal of foods eaten at time of an attack will give you a clue to what is setting off the allergy attacks.
Oral allergy syndrome
